Re: Electric Light Orchestra

My mother had Discovery when I was a kid. I used to listen to Shine A Little Love and Don't Bring Me Down over and over. I loved that album. I know it had the nickname Disco Very, but I think that might have been by design.

Re: Electric Light Orchestra

Heard all of their hits a million times but none of my friends or siblings ever owned any of their albums so I never knew anything but the hits. The last couple years I've aquired some of their cd's and records and I like 'em more and more each time I play em.

^^probably "Hotel California" for nostalgia reasons, it was one of the first albums I played constantly on the turntable as a kid.

Re: Electric Light Orchestra

I picked up Live At Wembley on DVD today.

What does everyone who's seen it, think about it?

I find it very uninspired, like they're just going through the motions. I saw that DVD Lynne put out a few years back. I think it was dubbed ELO featuring Jeff Lynne. I liked that one.

This isn't horrible, but I guess I expected more.

^^^ :heheh: I mean ELO! Hotel California is a gem though.

oh crap, I must of clicked the wrong one.

ELO fave.....Maybe New World Record. I'm not that familiar with the older stuff except the hits.
