In a state of deep, deep fascination
Has anyone heard these guys? I was listening to the Howard Stern Show the other day and they played a few songs. I am not a big Beatles fan, but they did a really good job of sounding like the Beatles, using no prerecorded anything, all instrumental, to recreate many difficult Beatles tunes. It's too bad they don't get out to Seattle, i'd definitely go to a show.

Saw them on Letterman a few months ago, and they were impressive. They did "I am the Walrus", and it was a great live reproduction.

i had to be talked into going to see these guys. they don't make it out of the east coast often, because some of them play with late night bands and have to be on the air regularly (letterman, jimmy kimmel). but they did their first west coast gig last november at the HOB and i was blown away. they don't try to imitate the beatles...just play the music exactly as the beatles might have done it if they had had the technology to reproduce their later albums live back in the 60's. these guys are amazing musicians. they'll be at the sunset strip house of blues on april 20th to do the whole white album for anyone in the area.
