Tied with Cities as my favorite! Track by track it is my favorite overall! One perfect layered melodic pop song after another with perfect ebbs and flows between dark and light moods!
Re: Anberlin (A Band Spawned From The Movement Towards Spiritual Intellect and Artist
So, I've been listening to the boxset I got quite a bit! Cities is my favourite album out of the three, but I think they are all good. Stand out tracks for me from Blueprints for the Black Market are: Readyfuels, Change the World (Lost Ones), Glass to the Arson and Love Song. From their second album I like Never Take Friendship Personal, Paperthin Hymn, The Runaways and absolutely love Dance, Dance Christa Paffgen (probably my favourite song I've heard so far by them). From Cities my favourites are Alexithymia, There Is No Mathematics to Love and Loss, The Unwinding Cable Car, Reclusion and (*Fin), but also like (Debut), Godspeed, A Whisper & a Clamour and Hello Alone. There are a few songs that I really can't be doing with when they sound too tweely boybandish - like Foreign Language from their first album - but other than that, yeah, toppo!

Awesome Tray! I have an inner smile a mile wide! I'm glad you like all the albums and you are on the same page in that you like Cities the best out of the three. Dance, Dance is a great song and you got me into that track today! I do know what you mean about their poppiest side but I do like Foreign Language! You picked some great songs and the only ominous exclusions are "The Feel Good Drag" and "Dismantle/Repair". Just kidding! It's awesome that people pick different songs! Shows the band appeals on so many different levels and the fact that you picked so many means I don't feel the need to refund you for your purchase!

The Feel Good Drag is ok apart from the shouty shouty bits which I'm not too fond of and Dismantle/Repair is fine but just doesn't grab me like the others I listed. It wouldn't do for us to all like the same things would it

Have not listened to this band in a long time. One album that comes to find first thing is this:
Amazing album, with good variety, especially with this. It was probably one of the first songs I ever heard from them, and just for good measure, i'll do the live version:
I just love when an acoustic guitar is used to its greatest extent. And this song uses it in the same way that I would.
