^^I cannot deny the Sex Pistols importance MP, but I just don't like their music at all and never have.

The Mighty Clash will always be my favorite Punk era band, and they proved you can grow beyond just protest/anti-authority/anarchist punk music and created one of the best albums ever recorded.

Of the big three of Punk (being The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and The Ramones) The Sex Pistols are by far my least favorite, though they really are the archetypes for punks ever since. I like the Ramones the most myself.

I'll give credit to Green Day for being at least a "decent" band with a couple of good songs here and there. In my mind, they shouldn't be praised to be the best punk-rock band ever(or have their own video game either). Never could get into Sum 41.

This thread is just simply naming the bands you don't like or appreciate. But, for those people that have the Beatles or Stones as overrated?? WOW. Well the world would be a weird place if we all had the same taste....

This thread is just simply naming the bands you don't like or appreciate.

I agree...and on the other thread as well.. some of you actually did reply as to why in some form or another (some of them are quite interesting).. Nit-picking is fun... up to a point but gets old... but since no of you are really a music critic in the way one reads a review in..... say like rolling stone or back then Circus, where they trash a band to no end was alot of fun... annoying, stuffy and pompous reviews was always worth a chuckle.

Now as to why... did they sell out, did somebody show up that should of been shown the door, got lazy, strung out.....etc.

Ozzy Osbourne's work as a solo artist.

I don't believe his work with Sabbath is overrated but his solo stuff is very much so, particularly over the past 15-20 years.
