Re: Creedence Clearwater Revival

Yeah, CCR rules! They are pure classic rock with balls. Nice riffs, old school rock melody and cripsy vocal are just few things these guys handle with ease. I have their double LP Chronicles ^^

CCR is definately one of my favorite bands. My favorite songs by them are Bad Moon Rising, Who'll Stop the Rain, Someday Never Comes, Long as I Can See the Light, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, and Lodi.

I have picked up a few more albums since the last time I visited this thread...Harkat you should check them out they are a "Classic" early rock band.

Cosmos Factory would be a great album to start with.

I never really got into their albums, though I loved many of their singles. Probably my two favorites were "Who'll Stop the Rain" and the much less well-known "Lodi."

Re: Creedence Clearwater Revival

^^For a long time I only had a compilation vinyl album of CCR's biggest hit singles, but then I picked up Cosmos Factory and have added 3 other albums to the collection. For casual fans the greatest hits CD has all their famous best loved songs, but like some other older bands I discovered I was missing out on lots of other good material so I delved a little deeper into their catalog. Very prolific band I must say averaged almost two records a year for the time they were together.
