I'm surprised at the hatred for Yoko here. From the way some of you are going on about her she's almost as equally guilty as Chapman is. Fact is, John loved her and she was his muse. All the accusations about her being a gold-digger are purely speculation. Do we dump on Linda McCartney for the same reasons?

I absolutely loath Yoko.

Yoko sets my BS meter off such that it blows fuses. I think Linda loved Paul. If she were alive, they'd still be together. If John were alive, I'd bet the farm, he and lucifer would be divorced. Back to Paul, that **** he recently married, Heather Mills, is as bad as Yoko. I knew from the start she was trouble. I seriously got upset, and wanted to send Paul a letter to set him straight...Of course I didn't. But friends can attest that what I said about that bitch came true...and I said it before it happened. Yoko is no different. Some of it's my gut, some of it's things I've read or heard, but I believe Yoko is a manipulative piece of trash. She played John like Hendrix plays the guitar. I hate her. I think she is a bad person. Yes, I hate Yoko very much, and feel no shame for it.

I think this is more about Yoko's role in splitting up the Beatles more than anything else which again is pure speculation on her part. They would have eventually split up sooner or later and Yoko was made the scapegoat. John loved Yoko just liked Paul loved Linda and both couples stayed together for a very long time. That's all I need to know.

Because the Beatles made so many people happy. Now if someone killed your wife, or mother or whatever...You would take a personal interest in seeing to it that bastard (or bitch) pay. It's the same thing here. John Lennon (as opposed to John Ono) touched us personally, so we feel strongly about seeing that bastard Chapman suffer.

I think they should put the ****er in a cage, and put that cage on a on a flat bed semi, and drive his sorry ass through the streets on NY while people pelt him with whatever they want. Then they should hang him by his rotten neck in Time Square and televise it. They could make it pay per view....

Are you a star struck teenage girl or what? If that's the penalty for murder under the law, fine. But special punishment for killing some rock star? Don't be silly.

I know the Beatles would have split up, that's not why I hate Bealzabub Ono (though Yoko didn't help matters, and certainly made them worse).

Yoko treated John's family and friends like total shit. The way she treated Julian is, was, and ever shall be unforgivably evil and disgusting. That is a ALL I need to know about Yoko Ono. I'm sorry, but I don't dig her...What's so wrong with that?

Well if you hate worshipping stars, why the hell do you post here? Sounds pretty hypocritical to me. You are, in a sense, worshipping musicians by posting here.

I know how she treated Julian -- that's all I need to know. I know what love is, and what it isn't. I know what evil people can be as well. I wouldn't go off on a rant, but so many defend Yoko, and it makes NO sense.

Sorry gang....this has nothing to do with liking Yoko or not liking Yoko...we all have a right either way.

But it's getting too overly descriptive and it's turning into insults here.
