I came here by way of Google looking for a place to talk about music with other fans of music. As big as the large social networking websites are, there still isn't a whole lot of talk about classic rock, live music, local bands or new acts. Even though I'm into classic rock, I love new groups that have that "sound" - harmonies, melodies, heavy riffs, great solo work... Songs you can really remember, and makes you want to get out and see a band live.

I hope to enjoy discussing old groups and new groups alike and get back into discovering the music that made me become a musician when I was just six years old.

I was playing a game on another board and was looking for a list of 70's rock bands and this site was on the Google search. I found the answer for the quiz I was doing and came back here for a better look round. I'm glad I did!
