ZZ Top will play 'La Grange' in La Grange

LA GRANGE, Texas -- It's all happening, folks.

ZZ Top will, for the first time, play "La Grange" in the city after which the legendary song was named. ZZ Top will headline the Fayette County Fair on Saturday, Sept. 5.

This show is actually in the middle of their tour with Blackberry Smoke, but unfortunately BBS won't be support on this particular date.

There's a pub a couple of miles away from where I live called The Grange (close enough...). I don't suppose they'll come and play there as well?

I drove through La Grange on my way to Burning Man many years ago. Sure enough, the radio was playing La Grange at the same time! Have to wonder how much people around there hear that song. Kind of like Baton Rouge... I wonder if they love that Garth Brooks song or if they're sick to death of it.
