Ozzy has to be my favorite artist who always wore make-up

I don't know about always. The early Sabbath videos look like any other 1970s dudes. No frills. Just kick ass rock.

As for Kiss, I guess the cover of Hotter Than Hell (the first Kiss album I ever heard when Alive was the new album) made them interesting in my youth but the music is what always impressed me about them and what keeps me a fan of their early stuff after all these years. But then I always liked uncompromising heavy rock.

I have to agree, Khor. I don't believe Ozzy wore his eyeliner in the early,early Black Sabbath years. Although I have seen pictures of Sabbath where he had on the eyeliner:
