Lord Grendel, we have a long way to go, and believe me, you would be stepping on nobody's toes no matter when you join. I hope that we still get new voters even when we are near the end. Hopefully we can get our Hall of Fame up to date, and then have a new vote every year after that to continue inducting new members. It's much more fun and more accurate with more voters.

^^Ebb and flow of life the universe and responsibility JTR. People's real lives take precedence over everything, including unfortunately your ongoing HOF project.

You have put out a lot of effort into this, for that I applaud you.

However...if I ever had the time and energy......to do something like this and was relatively new like yourself I would be posting in all the various band threads especially artists you have in your polls getting to know people a little better and as a natural by product you would have a lot more interest in your personal project.

That is my view anyway and I don't know if you are doing something similar in other sites as well which would take a lot of time and effort.

You mean the band threads around here? I've considered it, but there just seems so little traffic through most of them, I doubted it would pay off. I enjoy it so much, I guess I get surprised when others aren't as enthusiastic I always hoped this project could end up being a feature that the whole message board could be proud of and have a place of distinction here because we created it. Oh well, enough crying about it

Your project is fine and so are the band threads. What I see is your excitement/passion taking hold of you and your patience being in short supply, whereas when I log into this forum I have over a 100 threads to go through on my boards usually everyday.

The more you interact on the main board, the more interest will be exhibited in your pet project, it's no secret formula just common sense.
