Here are some of the hardest rocking women:

Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane}
Janis Joplin (Big Brother & the Holding Company)

These two in particular were some of the hardest rocking women. They lived the real rock n roll excess life to the fullest in their day, and it killed Janis. I guess Grace was lucky, because she was just as notorious for her drug and alcohol and sex excesses as any other male rock musician
