From every video I've ever seen by Wolfmother they look like they put on a great live show. Also there is something about Australians where they seem to be born with something that makes them rock so much harder than the rest of the world, both in fans and the bands themselves.

I don't look for any new albums for a while. It seems another member has left the band. Rhythm guitarist, Aidan Nemeth, has officially left Wolfmother.

^^It's a crying shame Wolfmother will never fulfill their promise, one of the most interesting bands to come out of Australia in ages. The first time I listened to their debut I thought I was listening to a band from the early 70's.

Sigh...would have been nice for them to have at least 4 or 5 albums out before unraveling.

It is a shame that this band have not done more as they had massive potential, I have both their albums and they are excellent, I have seen them live a few times, the only thing I haven't done is had a drink with them

I don't think Wolfmother has disbanded. They have replaced all 4 members who have left the band. I have no clue how all the new members sound, though. I know I do like both albums, Cosmic Egg being my fave of the 2.


From what I gathered reading about Wolfmother there is a new album that is completed, but the Record label may not release it.

^^Well if that's the case then Stockdale...? is the only original member left. No matter what it's a crying shame we only have two records so far.

I have no idea why the label is not releasing it, other than legal entanglements or perhaps they just don't feel it's a good record.

Yes, you would be correct......Stockdale is the only original member that remains.

I will search youtube in a few months, once the new band members have more tour time under their belts, and see if I can get a hint at how the new band members sound live. I am sure people will be uploading some vids of the tour

This photo was taken over a week ago in Sydney. Wolfmother did a concert with Lenny Kravitz and The Cranberries. It seems that Andrew Stockdale, for whatever reason, always falls out with other band members. I don't know what his problem is but Wolfmother keeps splitting up then reforming again because of his disagreements with the other lads in the band.
