I saw them last night and they were fantastic, they played some classics including Ballad Of The Beacon, Russ Ballard joined them on stage and did a few Argent tracks near the end. What a topper night.

Sounds like you and Sox had a great night. Wishbone Ash are still a grand rock band and heres hoping they will be with us for eternity. Russ Ballard aswell !!
Lou/Realm was relegated to watching Wishclone Ish [tribute band] who to be fair put up a good performance this time round....and Cinder was there too bless.
Here is probably my second favourite Wishbone Ash track....taken from the very underated "Number the brave" album

I think "Just Testing" is criminally underrated and why Martin Turner left just after I will never understand. Superb guitar work throughout and strong writing, excellent album IMO.

Just come across this from 1990. Sweaty and me saw them that year, they played a small theatre in a town not to far from where we live, Mansfield. They were on blistering form and put on a real show to remember.
