I'm a big fan of early 70's Wishbone Ash.

The combination of Andy Powell and Ted Turner on duel lead guitars are totally mind blowing together.

I really enjoy the first three albums a lot.

To be honest, I'm not much of a fan after the first three albums. Although I do like a couple of tunes off, ''There's The Rub'' album. (Don't Come Back and F.U.B.B.)

It's a shame Wishbone Ash became a unknown or a sometimes forgotten rock band of the 70's.

Wishbone Ash is worth checking out.

Yeah well, I haven't planned on not buying more Ash but you don't see them often around here. I can't remember the last time I saw the debut :D

I usually see the live album around stores but haven't picked it up yet.

i kinda think of ash the same way i think of golden earring... a few hits known in the states and that's about it, when the truth is, there are at least several albums worth of primo material, just waiting to be discovered by classic rockites. truly. siiigh.

Good way to put it Kath. Lots of good music from WA though they can be a little spotty as most bands are. I have their first 3 albums with Argus being my favorite. Saw them on a small clubs tour about ten years ago and they blew the roof off!

I've heard the Wishbone Ash Live Dates album but it's worth seeking out the BBC Radio One Live CD. It is quite good.

That live at the BBC is an excellent album, I got, "Strange Affair" which is a later album, not bad but not a patch on the firat 4 and live dates.

Wishbone Ash ..any takers ??

Till the day something or somebody takes me from this earth ..Wishbone Ash will be among the best ..Argus is without doubt one of the greatest rock albums produced ..and I contend and we can argue .Argus gave us the best twin guitar solo's this side if Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson ....
thus we have ..
