I was doing an inventory of my collection a couple of days ago, and as I was cataloging things it struck me I had no idea which band had the number one spot in my library so I did a count of them all.

In first place for artists Less than 100 years old, at 23 CD's is Jethro Tull, I was sort of surprised then Iron Maiden is next at 19.

However if I list the artists from over a 100 years ago, it's not even close. I have 67 Beethoven CD's in the house, that really surprised me I never did count them all before.:mn:

So who is in top spot in your collections?

Wow 67 Beethoven cd's that's amazing! My Father in Law would be proud of you! He loves classical & sings for the Buffalo Philharmonic. He's performed in Prague twice over the last few years

I am an addict Bucky, what can I say and that is great that your Father in law is in the symphony orchestra.

I look forward to seeing who is number one in your collection....I am going on a limb and guessing maybe...Kiss??

For me, it has to be Kiss since I own every studio album (some in 3 formats, CD, LP, Cassette), every live album and most of the compilations. I've never counted them, but I know this would be first!

I'm thinking Neil Young for me... all of his vinyls + cd's etc. Must be getting close to 100 w/bootlegs. The Who are up there too I guess. Deep Purple?

I've got a lot of complete discographies but Neil and the Who would've released the most I guess.

Well, for official KISS releases, it would be:

19 Studio Albums
8 Live Albums
10 Compilations
3 DVDs (which of course are all multiple discs)
--------
40 seperate titles.

Then again, if you want to count multiple formats, this would easily hit 65-70.
