Singer: Bobby Kimball - Fantastic voice and Toto was a very underrated band...which probably explains why Kimball never got the acclaim he deserves.

There was a time in the 80s you couldn't turn on the radio or tv without hearing about Toto. I don't think they ever singled out a singer or anyone else but in the mid 80s they were absolutely huge.

Sure, they were pretty big then. But after Toto IV, their radio play declined. And when the subject of "all-time great rock bands" comes up now, I never hear them mentioned anymore.

Myles Goodwyn still tours with his band, they were playing at one of our casinos recently. I was sort of surprised to see his name in our local music news magazine but was also glad to know he's alive and well and doing what he loves.

I've loved AW since 1974 when I got my first album for Christmas from my brother.

Icicle Works included Ian McNabb, who is great. Here he is with Crazy Horse. If you haven't heard You Must Be Prepared to Dream you haven't lived.

OK, I know who Ian McNabb is. I am familiar with some of his solo 90's work. I have the album "Truth & Beauty".....although I have not listened to it since the 90's.

There is a 2013 expanded version of Head Like a Rock (1994) and I'm not sure I don't prefer Crazy Horse with Ian McNabb over Neil Young, although I like them with him too.
