Great list! And I knew I could come up with 5 so I wanted them to be original. And I just thought of another one: The Ramones first album. Though they had a great run up to Road to Ruin, that first album is their best.
This is tough because it is rarely a debut album that’s my favorite. So you might see some bands listed that I like but the artist is definitely not a favorite artist but the debut album is probably the only album I have and like by that band/artist.
First to come to my mind is, please don’t throw bricks at me…..

I understand. I remember the first time I listened to the debut, I had to double check to make sure it was Foreigner. Definitely a Prog rock album instead of the popular stuff from later on…..which BTW my fav would be “4”.
