Original lineup of Queen of course, and this awesome blues supergroup:

Ronnie James Dio - vocals
David Gilmour - guitar
Ritchie Blackmore - guitar
Jack Bruce - bass
Micky Lee Soule - piano
Gary Driscoll - drums

Elf (Dio, Driscoll, Soule) was very strong, although underrated blues-rock musicians, and Blackmore also can play the blues excellent.

You'd need to head to the Forest Lawn Memorial park.
Ps. Take a sharp spade.

That's why I'm having a hard time coming up with any. Mindfunk getting back together might be cool but their last album was pretty blah so maybe they got out of it before it turned to poop.

I think there was a thread along the lines of which dead rock star would you bring back? Maybe it just needs a new thread like this, but which includes those that have gone. Often they were and would be key members.

Wasn't there also a build your own supergroup thread?

Alright, one more time. :D I'd like to see the collaboration of Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, Rudolf Schenker, Klaus Meine and Matthew Bellamy on keyboards.

And Rainbow in lineup like this:
Ritchie Blackmore – guitar
Russell Allen – lead vocals
Paul Morris – keyboards
Greg Smith – bass, backing vocals
Chuck Burgi - drums

Also, union of Gilmour, Waters and Mason, called Pink Floyd. I think, if two crucial members of band still alive - they have all rights to continue their show under the flags of Floyd.

Dave Gilmour said they needed Richard Wright for the 'sound' of Pink Floyd.

A number of CRF members seem to want Ritchie Blackmore/Rainbow back.
