For me, there is no point in naming bands that cant get to gether because memebers are dead. Otherwise the obvious choices would be Zeppelin, the Beatles, and AiC...Oh yeah, AC DC with Bon Scott.

One band I'd like to see get together (because they are all alive and can reunite), are The Smiths.

The original line up of GnR needs to reunite as well.

Although, I like Dokken with the new guitarist, original Dokken with Lynch on guitar should also reunite.

Robin Crosby of Ratt is dead, but Jake E Lee was in Ratt at one time. I'd like to see Ratt reunite with all living members, and Jake E. Lee, replacing Crosby on guitar.

Oh yeah, KISS with Peter and Ace.

Me and my friends used to have this joke where we would be doing White Lion band introductions. We'd say the first three in sort of an Arnold Schwarzenegger voice and the last would be high pitched and whiny.

Veee-Toh Brrr-aaah-Ta!

Jay-mzzz Loh-men-zoh!

Grrehg Dee-ahn-jeee-loh!

I agree Salmacis, a Genesis reunion would be most triumphant. I saw them back in '07 when they toured and was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I want to see them reunite with Steve Hackett and Peter Gabriel. That would be something.
If you could resurrect I would have to say The Who. The stuff they would have been able to put out with Entwistle and Moon throughout the past couple decades would have been good stuff.
I would like to see Emerson, Lake, and Palmer get together again and put out an album. I wonder how it would sound like!
