Interesting article. Just shows that if you hang onto your old stuff it will eventually become cool again. :D
For me and a few of my like-minded friends, records never ever went away. :grinthumb Just a shame that the new ones are so expensive.:wa

Not only do I prefer the classic rock sounds on vinyl, one problem I have with CD's is the lack of full size album covers.I mean with the rather miniscule CD covers, how the hell are you supposed to look for "Paul Is Dead" clues? What's the point in creating a really good cover for CD's when they're so frigen small? The one exception,of course, the White Album since there was nothing there anyway.Despite this last fact,it is nonetheless considered one of the very most classic covers ever...............

When 8 tracks become popular again, get back to me.

Honestly, I don't get it. Records have never sounded better to me and never will. I saw the price of new 180g vinyl last week and just about let out a "WTF" out loud in the store. The $ people are willing to spend on an inferior medium really blows my mind.

:wtf:

Vinyl prices are ridiculous where I'm at. I will not pay 40-50 ****ing bucks on an album on vinyl.

Vindication for those of us who've been saying vinyl recordings are superior since the beginning. Now, if they can just start actually recording in analog again.

There is nothing superior about digital recording other than convenience. In other words, your comparisons are jenky.

You said, records have never sounded better to me. Compared to what?
