What happened to Gary Cherone?

He sang some songs with Extreme. Then he sang some songs with VH.

That's about it. That's all I know anyhow.

But what happened to him after VH? I haven't heard the album he recorded with them, but I don't really understand why VH/Cherone didn't work. Extreme were a bit like VH, but less heavy and with good lyrics.

Yeah, sounds like major damage control. Unless the first part of the tour is really, really messy for one reason or another, it doesn't make much sense to reschedule 31 bleepin' shows...what a logistical nightmare. From everything I've heard and read and seen the tour has been going well onstage and at the box office so the "the band wants the second leg to be as awesome as the first" statement sounds like complete BS. Now they're gonna have alot of angry fans ( many who probably won't be able to make a rescheduled show) in 31 cities and the bad press that goes along with it.
