Uriah Heep have just begun work on their 23rd studio album.

The veteran band are at Liscombe Park Studios in Buckinghamshire, recording the follow-up to 2008’s Waking The Sleeper. If all goes to plan, this will be released at some point in 2011.

I'll be honest, I haven't been up to date on Uriah Heep, but love them. I'm a big fan of their 70's era albums, but I'm looking forward to hearing this new record. I need something to rock to, in 2011. I've seen some clips of Uriah Heep in concert over the summer, and they sounded awesome. Can't wait to hear this new album.
