Adore Winwood's work with both Traffic as well as Blind Faith. The Faith were SO good, they made only one album and made the hall of fame.On my "Magical Mystery Tour" Beatles DVD,there's a bonus clip of a Traffic video for "Here We go 'Round The Mulberry Bush" that was cut from the final product, but provides some fascinating lost visuals. It was filmed in the same field where the Fab Four filmed their well known performance of "I Am The Walrus".............

I'm just the opposite, I like Arc of a Diver, the 2nd album.

After Winwood's Back in the High Life I lost interest in his solo works....

Have to agree with that. I liked all of his solo stuff up to High Life, then he seemed to run out of ideas or something. The last album of his that I liked was Live from Madison Garden, with Eric Clapton

Yes your right Magic...All 3 are good... All 3 are analog and that TO ME is important :) (Nothing he did after TALKING BACK TO THE NIGHT is analog (I dont think))

I do believe you are right. Recording changed to digital in 1983. Just about ALL production jumped on the digital bandwagon quick.......they were able to manipulate the sound for "sounds sake" instead of hearing the raw band.

I don't have a good sound system anymore so digital vs analog doesn't matter much to me. However, I really treasure my old vinyl BECAUSE most of them are analog. Music was never meant to be sound mixed perfect.
