Don't really care what genre its under, I just like their music. Haven't heard albums but heard a couple of tunes and liked what I heart plus the album covers look cool as.

It's OK Riff, it’s my own stupid fault, old school musical wimps like me should never go anywhere near Death Metal threads and fans, and especially try to talk to them on their own terms, I always end up feeling like the guy trying to get a reaction by poking the acid blooded creature in the ‘Alien’ movies with a stick.

lol It doesn't make sense to go into death metal threads if you already don't like that style. I don't consider DM or metal in general as some holier than thou genre like some make it out to be, no one is above anyone else because of a music taste. I certainly wouldn't call you an 'old school wimp'. To be fair are you just trying to get a reaction? Anyways lets leave it at that, my post was to both of you, not just you.

I'm not a big death metal fan but was lurking because the thread was active. I think the metal heads I have met are all different kinds of people, they aren't aliens. I don't think dkw says it's stupid in the sense of defending metal, more of defending coherence and common forum courtesy. What's the point of posting in a thread just to joke the fans of the music that you don't listen to?

I agree which I just covered in my last reply. It is pointless to post in a DM thread just to prod at the fans of said music. But its also pointless to react to it as well. As I said lets just leave it at that and get it back on topic.

I like this band's music. Not the 'holocaust' in the name though. Leaves a bad taste.
