Top Ten Bands/Artists of the Last Ten Years

I hear all the time how their isn't any good music out these days and I could not disagree more. We have a more diverse and widespread range of music out today than ever before and with so much going on I think their has to be at least ten musical acts of the last decade that anyone can be a fan of. What would be your ten (the cut off is the release of the band/artist's debut album)?

i could think of way more than 10 lol. really does bother me when people say there aren't any good modern bands, because there are, most of it just isn't the typical pop stuff you hear on the radio!
these aren't really in order of preference:

3. City And Colour

6. Adele
7. The Pretty Reckless
8. Lady Gaga (pre-Born This Way)

Well, it's true. That's why you hear it all the time.

The last 10 years was the worst period for new music, for the last 45 years or so of music...

I don't care if anyone else on this music forum disagrees.

But, I'll be back.....

after sadly, scrapping the bottom of the barrell of modern music.

I think the 80's were worse than the last ten years but that's just me.
