Top 5 Guitar Riffs

Alright guys so I think it's time that we name our top 5 guitar riffs. So let's hear yours. Mine are:

5. Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood and the Destroyers
4. Enter Sandman - Metallica
3. Runnin' With the Devil - Van Halen
2. Paranoid - Black Sabbath
1. Black Dog - Led Zeppelin

How hard is this, there are so many brilliant riffs .. Right 5 that spring to mind as long time favourites of mine.

1. Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love ... Just seems to have been in the background all my life and still does the job. Jimmy's take is awesome. He nailed a monster.

2. Deep Purple - Burn ... Ritchie bangs out a killer, if you remain still when this is on get someone to check your pulse.

3. Black Sabbath - Supernaut ... The song is massive, the intro riff a work of art. I know, Sabbath have a bucket full of diamond hooks.

4. ACDC - Let There Be Rock ... They came, they saw, they blew us away. Top this they said. Brilliant absolutely brilliant.

5. Iron Maiden - The Trooper ... A blinding bit of work, has to be up there for me it never fails to lift me up.

I could go on for ever, how do you choose

1. Sixteenth Century Greensleeves - Rainbow... Powerful and surprisingly solemnly sounding riff. Ethalon of dramatic hard-rock.

2. Doctor, Doctor - UFO... Most melodious riff in rock at all. It catches you right from the beginning and doesn't let you go to the end.

3. The Mob Rules - Black Sabbath... Grandiose metal riff from Tony Iommi. Perfect sample of melodious heavy metal.

4. Another Piece Of Meat - Scorpions... Rough and ferocious side of Scorps, that we could hear in their heaviest and fastest song. Ideal riff for fast driving.

5. Don't Stop - FM... Simply, for me, it's most catchiest riff in whole melodic-rock/AOR.
