Do the Bruce Springsteen Human Touch & Lucky Town albums qualify? They were released on the same day, though admittedly they were sold separately. Those babies were masterpieces from The Boss.

Otherwise, I liked Journey: Revelation (one disc of new songs and one disc of remakes). Also liked the Guns N' Roses Use Your Illusion collection, although they were also sold separately but released on the same day. Then there is Great White's Sail Away album.

Of course I also agree with many of the albums that have already been named. I just preferred to stick with naming those I haven't seen listed yet.
