Top 10 Southern Rock Bands

Nice to see ARS mentioned on Jake's list and the Ozarks on CLASIKROKR's top ten.

I consider Charlie Daniels as much Southern Rock as Marshall Tucker, his album "Million Mile Reflections" is definitely a rock record.

The Doobie Brothers kinda fit the Southern Rock mold at times.

^^You think so SB? I consider "Stampede" as close to country rock as the Doobie's ever got but never really put them in the Southern rock section. Little Feat on the other hand I do consider to have a quintessential Southern flavor, even though they were from Los Angeles.

The Doobie Brothers genres according to Wikipedia: Hard rock, roots rock, country rock, swamp rock. So as I said they sorta fit the Southern Rock mold at times.

Wikipedia has Kansas listed as a Southern Rock band.They also have Kenny Wayne Shepherd.KWS is great but I don't know if he is Southern rock.They also list Stevie Ray Vaughan.
