Dvorak is a Czech composer that first made a name for himself adapting Slavonic folk music to symphony. He first gained real popularity in England but went on to adapt a lot of Negro music from the US to symphony while adding his own touches.

He remains one of my favorite composers ever. It is extremely dramatic and full of varying tones and dynamic interplay..

Thanks, I just looked him up and it says he was born near Prague. It also showed how much stuff he created and worked on. They spell it: Dvořák. I wonder how that it pronounced?

I can't, in good conscience, pick any one as being worse. There's been really good music and really crappy music in any given decade.

I probably paid the least amount of attention to the 90s, though. Not saying it was the worst, though.

How about the "Roaring Twenties?" :gig Although seriously, it is neat to see how each generation influenced the next.

I'm pretty glad to see no votes for the Sixties so far- my favourite decade for music by far

I can at least enjoy some of the blues rock groups out today. I can't think of much I like from the 90s, except for some rockabilly!
