R.I.P. Moon the Loon. I always have a hard time listening to the Who Are You album because it was released so closely to the time of his death. What a phenom!
Indeed Keith was one in a million. He was not just a great drummer, but helped bring them out of the shadows. His showmanship was a Huge part of what made the Who so famous as a live band.
^^^ Would've loved to see him and Bonham onstage together. I think there was a concert or two where Keith appeared. I don't know if there's video footage of it though.
Speaking of The Who...last weekend I saw a Copy of "Quadrophenia" an audiophile vinyl edition with the gatefold jacket and all the trimmings. I was tempted to pick it up on sight...but ended up with a different album that I couldn't resist.
I'll be visiting the shop again this weekend and most likely will pick it up if it's still there.
