I understand some will say that there are some songs on The Beatles that are not some of their best work. And Beggars Banquet has some very good songs. But danggit! The Beatles is just such a great album and a wonderful package.

Damn, yer pulling my mind apart with this one. I'll choose the White Album here...

I'm a bigger fan of the Stones than I am of the Beatles. Regarding this matchup, The White Album has a LOT of throwaway tracks. If you took the throwaway tracks off of the White Album and made it a single LP album, it would be worthy of the praise that it often gets. What's good, is REALLY good but what's bad is REALLY bad.

That being said, even with all of the throwaway tracks on the white album, it still crushes Beggars Banquet (for me).
