Online gambling is a major problem here and it is given an air of respectability by their freedom to advertise and to sponsor sports events. They should be banned in my view.

The government want us to opt in to all sorts of unpleasant sites, which I do not want and would never visit in a million years. But, I don't like them telling me what I can or cannot see. If politicians had exemplary moral standards it would be different, but they don't.

When Quadrophenia was released it cost about £4.00, which seemed a lot at the time, but it was beautifully packaged and you got the story, the photos and lyrics. Although the documentary was presented as new, I think I've seen it before. I've certainly seen a lot of the footage and very little of the analysis was new. It was no problem seeing it again, I never ever tire of hearing The Who. Townshend is an insane genius.
A clean copy with the booklet intact fetches a pretty penny nowadays. I came across one a couple of months ago. The lps were in so-so shape, the jacket was worn and no booklet. Asking price was $20. Passed on it.

^^Just buy the new one that's out George, you know it's going to be in good condition and has all the trimmings. Unless I see an absolute "mint" copy of an old classic album I'd rather buy a new pressing as long as it's done from the original mastertape.
