I was gonna say Those Shoes...and Disco Strangler. Back in '79-'80 our local "Hard Rock/ Metal" station would play Disco Strangler and it tied in well with Disco Demolition in Chicago and all.

It was just one of those..."part of that year" type records. I also think it was the first time I actually bought an Eagles album....then Hotel California ect. came later.

Same, The Long Run was one of the very first albums I ever bought with my own money. Still have the original vinyl too (not that I've listened to it in that format in 20+ years).

Sweet and Simple, Daydream, City Of The Angels, When You're Alone It Ain't Easy, Lovin You Is Easy are great examples of why a greatest hits set just won't do when it comes to Journey.
