Having only Celestial Entrance from Pagan's Mind's discography, it's fantastic Prog/metal. I'm going to check out thier other albums.

I tend to see Death as a Death metal band rather then a progressive metal band. Sure they are a progressive death metal band on some of their albums
but that's just the way I look at it ....

Same with Nevermore etc.... I see them as a power/ thrash band first even though they are progressive lol

:wtf:

Anyway, I saw Death live at one of their last shows and met Chuck a short time before it was announced that he had cancer. Great band !!!

I went for Dream Theater (brilliant live band IMO) but I really like Ayreon (many thanx to LG) and Opeth sounded great at the High Voltage Festival in the summer.

not much a fan of prog metal but if you put Riverside in there they get my vote!! Out of Myself and ADHD are great albums. Although what I've heard of Ayreon I like some of it.

Opeth for me, though I had a strong feeling that Dream Theater would be first :heheh:
