Sums up my feelings about them. Only have one of their albums "The Road Back Home" which I think is a compilation

Never actually listened to The Flower Kings myself but I had previously heard others complaining that the lyrics were fairly cringeworthy in places and that put me off listening. Spookily enough it was mostly the cheesy lyrics, and the dodgy vocals which turned me off listening to Roine Stolts other band - Transatlantic.
    Common factor there......?? :dunno:

They are like Neal Morse LIGHT, when it comes to Religion. Church Of Your Heart indeed.

flowery lyrics religion hmmm I am hard pushed to agree with that statement the song you mention isn't about said topic its a love song. I have to agree with you on Neal Morse is creating music about religion but on a personnel note I personnel am a fan he`s a amazingly songwriter and a musician who`s musicianship is truly awesome live showman

Love The Flower Kings. Retropolis and Space Revolver are my faves.

Never found myself paying much attention to the lyrics. Hope I don't start. I use to love Neal Morse up until that morning he took that fateful jog. He's been too overbearing ever since.
