I think it's about time for another one of these.....

You all know the drill but just to be official here are the rules....

*Each person gets up to 15 votes for any lyricist of their choice. You may vote for anyone from any genre or time period.

*Rank them from #1 to #15. The #1 slot will get more points than the #2 slot and so on and so forth.

*At the end of the voting process (which has no set date but I will give you a couple weeks in advance before closing the polls) I'll add everyone's points up and post the results.

*Every member is allowed to vote. Admins, mods, and any other member are permitted to vote with everyone has the same, fair number of points.

*You can post your ballet (which you are permitted to make changes to all the way up to the closing date, which for my sake I request you make all changes in a new post as opposed to going back and editing the original one if it is several pages back) here or you may send it to me in a private message if you so please. Whichever you would like.

Is Jagger/Richards and Lennon/McCartney allowed?

They should be allowed - just to make things easier.

I considered that mainly because of Paul and John but then I decided against it because the two of them wrote about such different things.

Actually I do mean Bernie Taupin. Brainfart, I was thinking Taupin did the music and John the lyrics. I don't know what I was thinking. Now changed.

I think Jagger/Richards should be counted as 1 vote, since both wrote the lyrics, for the Rolling Stones. Making voters separate them, and count as two, is waste of a extra vote....hopefully other Stones fans will agree.

Just curious, Cosmic Harmony - is Mick Jagger or Keith Richards going to be in your top 15?
