This is my own opinion but to me TenYears After were the MVP's of the Woodstock movie. I remember one Friday night in the late 70's I watched the movie on PBS.I was psyched for the Who & Hendrix performances because I'd only heard about how legendary they were. When Ten Years After came on I was so blown away ( I never heard of them so I expected some folk group w/ a name like that). By the time the movie ended I felt Ten Years After blew everyone away & I became an instant fan

The seventh studio album and a solid favourite of mine is "A Space In Time". Recorded at the Olympic Studios London and released on Chrysalis in 1971, the album sees the band shift in style slightly. There is a more acoustic input and for me it works well.

Here's the ripper of an opening track "One Of These Days" .... Boy!

This is pretty much the way I found out about them as well. It was the mid-80's the first time I watched it, and I was floored by the intensity of the performance. Ever since I have been a fan.

The second track from "A Space In Time" shows Alvin's acoustic leanings. A steady track which grows and which in time became a big favourite of mine.

Here They Come

I like the whacky outro too. :D

Yeah, that's one of those things I really wish I could hear the rest of the master tape. It's cool how a lot of the great British players payed homage to some of the bluegrass pickers here in 'the colonies'.

They are a well and truly great blues rock band. Can't stop listening to them.
