I would need a forest to hide them all.:D

^^I like the "lived in" look and a Stereo stand with a shelf open like yours' looks naked without a few albums in it.:D And it saves going to the shed to get a few gems to spin on your new Rega too.

Wired for sound...

I like the set-up Sox. Nice, compact and intimate. The plants could be there for damping I suppose, eh? :) Wires can be an eyesore unless you get good lenghts to hide and tie down.

The ladies in our lives are for balance. I bet Bruce's setup looks like a recording studio. :D

^^^ That's true enough gcczep the ladies like things neat and tidy, space is a bit of an issue for us so I had to keep things compact and ok looking but still try to get a good sound out of the gear. All in all I think I'm about there. :grinthumb

^I was picturing your audio room to have all manner of playback and recording equipment here and there let alone the LPs/CDs hanging about. I still have to get around separating my multi channel HT and stereo music from each other.

Talking about nice little gadgets I picked up a Cambridge 551P Preamp LG, very simple but very, very good for not too many £££s. It compliments my Rega RP1 TT really well and set up through a Cambridge Topaz AM5 Power amp we are not talking mega bucks for quality sound. The bit of kit has given new life to my old vinyl collection. :)
I have the RP1 I like it alot, I think it is a great table and a prettygood deal. I run it through a *** Digital Phono/USB Preamp. Its the shnitz :****:
