ComfortablyNumb
Unquestionable Presence
Tales of Terror was a punk rock band which was active from 1982 until 1986. They formed in a Sacramento California out of the band Suare Cools. They released a self-titled LP in 1984. No CD version has been released it is extremely rare. They played sleazy, sloppy, raucous punk rock just like the Stooges, Sex Pistols and Dead Boys.
They had a pretty good influence on the Grunge scene. Their album is listed in Kurt Cobain's Journals at number 32 in his top 50 albums list and the song "Chambers of Horror" is in a list of songs he had written down.
Green River covered the song "Ozzie" on their "Rehab Doll/Dry as a Bone" album.
Great band.
