Stones Show Stunk

Yeah but the songs The Stones did were way better than the one Aretha did.

As bad as the Stones were, the Ref's stunk it up the most.

Just imagine what would have happened had those penalties been called on the Steelers and the Seahawks got the benefit of the doubt. They would be crying bloody murder today.

Admittedly, I didn't see it...but I find this incredibly hard to believe.

I liked the Stones show.. their stage was pretty cool too. If they can't sing they at least know how to get a crowd going.

Song choices were really lame. What they really should've done would be the following:

1. Street Fighting Man
2. Sweet Neo-Con
3. Sympathy for the Devil

And then they could have dedicated the entire set to...Paul McCartney, maybe? Nah, the censors would never buy it...

-> Picked terrible songs
-> They are lousy now
-> They last good music from them was 1972 !
-> This was Detroit, home of MOTOWN, TED NUGENT, BOB SEGER etc. etc.

I saw some of the performance. These guys are past their prime, and I wasn't really expecting much. I tell you what though, i'd rather see the Stones give a subpar performance than to have Destiny's Child or Ashlee Simpson up there.

Yep, no contest there. I can't even tell the difference between a Destiny's Child and Ashlee Simpson song.

Of course I didn't see any of it - heck if it weren't for all the hype on television I wouldn't have know when the Super Bowl was even or who was playing - but I've heard some varying reviews from they did well to they stunk. I can't see the Stones being so bad I'd rather see the tweeny bopper set instead.
