This is pretty awesome! I'm a huge fan of artists from different genres coming together and rocking it out! Below is a video from the Academy of Country Music Awards last year. Look for Steven around the 1:40 mark. They first cover her hit "Undo It" then lead into a rendition of "Walk This Way"... and I love how the audience doesn't seem to know what to think. :heheh:

They are going to be working together again on a CMT Crossroads episode that will air before the Super Bowl. :grinthumb

Not bad all things considered and Steven Tyler is getting around these days, seems to have rejuvenated himself.

Yes LG, and I think that's due to his stint on on American Idol like it or hate it, it definitely seems to have given him a confidence boost not to mention the boost in Aerosmith's sales. Think it's introduced a lot of younger people who what the show to their music which can't be a bad thing. He's a frisky fellow as to be expected he hits on half the contestants. :heheh:

He and the Aerosmith boys have dabbled in country before with tracks like What It takes, Crazy and all that. Cool video...not bad. :grinthumb

Not bad, but not good either............

Steven just doesn't have the "twang" in his voice that is needed to perform country music.

I will give him credit, though, for attempting to cross over into a new music genre.

I will definitely watch the CMT crossroads show.

Yeah but this type of country isn't real country. Metal has and will always be around, but when people ask me what happened to "hair metal"?

I usually point them in the modern country direction. :grinthumb

MP, you're a crazy man! Modern country is nothing like the good ole glam days.........

But I will say, you definitely gave me a chuckle :heheh:

Glad you liked it Connie. Here he is on AI performing Dream On last season.

And Magic... it's your long lost daughter. :heheh:
