I've always been impressed with the Steelys ability to quite successfully incorporate jazz into rock. They always created a sort of breezy, smooth atmosphere.I think Chevy Chase was really close with Becker and Fagen at college.A former drumming instructor or mine was a really big Steve Gadd fan.I think Gadd played on some McCartney tracks. And we all know quite well how particular Sir Paul is about selecting backing musicians for tours and albums..........................

They need to cut a new album!!!! Getting tired of all the old tunage ;)

"old tunage" you say . Few have the talent and vision of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. I would very much enjoy a new album from them, but failing that , I never tire listening to those finely crafted songs. Listen to the "Asia" album , no question why it won the Grammy Award . :)

Any news of Steely Dan producing new work would be greatly welcomed. A top ten band on my personal list. Also, any posting's of videos would be truly radical !
