Yeah Lou they always went hand in hand. Everyone I knew too. There were cool mags like Rock Scene that would have both of these bands in it all the time...but then again there were alot of bands in these magazines.

It's strange how these two are so connected.

Its sad for me that i never got to see the likes of STARZ live. i dont think they ever came to the U.K.: I always remember playing "sing it shout it" and my younger brother coming in convinced i was playing David Cassidy [ !! lol] he couldnt believe it was the same band from the heavier 1st album! Talking of commercial tracks....The[ bonus ] track "you called his name" would have been a good single. As far as i know STARZ are still out there rocking. Michael Lee Smith has put a lot of weight on since his glory days . I have also heard a new track "texas" which sounds very ZZ TOP....So heres hoping fora new cd! The excellent Richie Ranno has also been playing live doing a CREAM tribute

Heres the track I was on about.....an added bonus track on the cd of STARZs excellent Coliseum Rock album. A commercial ballad...very good...glad its seen the light of day and released.

"Detroit Girls" and" Boys in Action" are absolute pearlers in the STARZ catalogue MP ! They bring back great memories of my youth....Slipn Im so proud of you seeing STARZ with Aerosmith, What a gig THAT sounds !!
