Black Dog is the most over rated/over played song for mine of Led Zeppelin. I could go a long time without hearing that one again.
And Lynch with your Ac/dc choices I particularly agree with Shook Me All Night Long. That one I don't like much now. Ac/dc has plenty of tunes even I could go a fair time without hearing. Shoot to Thrill is another, Its a Long Way, TNT, are all ridiculously annoying now.

10CC's song "Things We Do For Love" off Deceptive Bends.

Really? I love both these songs.

A single line in Take It To The Limit:

"If it all fell to pieces tomorrow, would you still be mine?"

It's loaded with fear, hope, angst, love and despair. It's poetry.

And I'll be honest about the 10CC song. I hated it when it was popular. Not because it was a bad song, but because I was 13-14 years old, and if it wasn't KISS, Zep, Ted Nugent, etc., it sucked.

I heard it many, many years later, and it's a great song. The harmonies are wonderful.

And, (here's your dose of irony for the day) you know where I heard it? On a random music cd my 14 year old daughter burned.

She loves the song.



Oh, and to answer this thread, I skip 'Almost Human' on KISS Love Gun every time.
