Here for the cookies and the tunes
Awesome, AWESOME song! Gives me chills and makes me tear up every time that I listen to it. Fortunately, I still have both of my parents and am still very very close to them, but hearing this song makes me think of things that both have said to me and taught to me and I can't imagine the day that one (or both) are no longer here. So, it chokes up just on the inevitable when one (or both) are gone.
It also makes me think of some of the lessons that I've tried to pass down to my kids and hope that they remember me in the same way that I"ll remember my own parents.
