Keith once said that when he dies he wants gigs to be cancelled as a result. As long as people show up, why stop? I saw BB King a couple years ago and he cooked, and he's in his 80's I beleive.

The Stones are basically walked corpses at this point. The fact that Mick and Keith (specifically) are even still alive is a miracle in of itself. They're far over the hill if you ask me.

Why shouldn't they rock on? They can still do it.

As people have said, BB King and Chuck Berry are still going, also Frank Sinatra was performing till his death, as was Chet Atkins, Les Paul, all sorts. Bob Dylan is in a similar boat, and he's allowed to still go on producing albums (and his most recent album (excluding the Christmas album, that was laughable, I'll admit) was fantastic if you ask me - if you're a Bob fan, get it!), Ringo Starr is 70 and not finished yet.

Good on the Stones for continuing on. They're having fun, why stop now?

love the stones. but i would never see them tour. way too much money for shows. their recent output of music has been laughable and i feel making new studio albums is the one thing they should stop doing

I saw them in quite a small theatre in Sydney with the rest of my family 7 years ago. They were joined on the stage at one point by Angus and Malcolm Young from AC/DC. My Dad won the tickets on some kind competition on the radio. It was a night to remember! They were brilliant.

I've been lucky enough to have attended many Stones shows. The first was the Sticky Fingers tour. Why should they stop playing rock and roll? When you get to be their age, will you stop listening to it?

They should do whatever they want... if that means more tours, then so be it. If it means taking time off, crawling up palm trees, falling out and getting concussions, so be it.

But for the Love of God, someone PLEASE alert the media to STOP taking pictures of these guys!!!!!!!!!
