Rumors circulate of Ronnie James Dio's death

I didn't realize he was almost 70 years old. He was an icon and I have never heard anyone say anything bad about him over all the years he was a major force in music.

The world has lost a great artist today, he will be missed.

Wow, I didn't know he was 67, battling cancer. Haven't heard much about him in the past few years, maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

RIP Ronnie, your singular voice shall be missed.

I'm Truly saddened by this. He was the greatest lyricist in metal in the 80's. Such a gracious man, as is evident in the video below!

growing up listening to rock music ..Dio was always there in one form or another that diminutive figure with the soaring voice...he was on tv here in the USA not too long ago on "That Metal Show" he was astounding ..just his apprecitation of his fans and fellow musicians ...he was such a nice guy ..hates Ritchie Blackmore to death (who doesn't) ..but loved everyone else
