10 years ago today, the world lost one of the greatest Rock/Metal vocalists of all time.

The message that Wendy posted on Facebook that day:

I liked Ronnie. I liked Ronnie when he said "I'm the guy who likes to hang around with the fan's after the gig when the rest of the band had gone back to the hotel" and when he said he was a big fan of the band (Rainbow) as well as the fan's. I only read the other week that after Ronnie quite Rainbow in 1978 he never spoke to Ritchie Blackmore ever again I never knew that(?) and as far as I know he never 'run Ritchie down' in the music press either?. The only thing I read with regards to Ronnie mentioning about Rainbow was he thought that Rainbow had turned into a 'pop band' on the Down To Earth album with Graham Bonnet on lead vocals the Rainbow album released after Ronnie had left the band also the other thing that I read he said was he thought that Tony Iommi played better rhythm guitar than Ritchie he went on to say in the interview that Ritchie gets by on just playing the E string.
