This cat was a part of the Rockabilly sound that was popular in the early 80's. He's best known for Tired Of Toen' The Line. Rocky's dad was Johnny Burnette, who's songs Train Kept A Rollin' and You're Sixteen were coverd by artists such as Aerosmith and Ringo Starr.​

Toein' the Line became a major song in the U.S, Australia and the U.K. but his second album did not do very well because of financial difficulties and lack of promotion.​




Too bad really....he was a fun artist...raise your hands if anyone remembers Rocky or if this thread has jarred your memory a bit. :cheers2

I had that album when it came out, bought it for "Toein' the Line", but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me MP. I never replaced it on CD...;)

I sure do remember...my most favorite childhood memory was my dad holding my sister and I on his arms up in the air dancin around the living room to this song. Good Times....good times!
