Riverside (Official Thread)

Riverside is a fantastic band, both in album form and live (Saw them some years ago in Vienna). I think their first three albums were superb, with "Out of Myself" being a slight favourite. "Anno Domini High Definition" was good too, but not quite up there with the previous three. The two latest ones ("Shrine of New Generation Slaves" and "Love, Fear and the Time Machine") are great, but they haven't stuck with me the same way the older material has.

Btw, I don’t know if it’s been mentioned in this thread, and you probably know about it, but Mariusz Duda has a solo project called Lunatic Soul. I highly recommend fans of Riverside to check it out!

I have definitely heard Lunatic Soul, and I find that project to also be fantastic.

I also agree with you with their older work, I have a soft spot for Out of Myself and Second Life Syndrome. Reality Dream III, Loose Heart, and The Curtain Falls are all fantastic tracks.

Eye of the Soundscape is the upcoming new album which is astounding to me as they just put one out last year. Keen as to get this one.

The thing is, it's not a new studio album. It does have 4 new songs, but the rest is instrumental tracks previously used as bonus material for "Shrine Of New Generation Slaves" and "Love, Fear and the Time Machine" + some rare tracks.
